This study exploits the public data of worthwhile websites specializing in the leasing of private vehicles.
The monthly income estimate is based on the number of transactions carried out by the car rental owners and the daily prices offered. Some car rentals does not provide an estimate of monthly income when the number of observations is considered too low.
For example, only 2% of vehicles bring more than € 350 a month to their owners, vehicles offered for rent bring a little less than € 600 a year to their owners on average or that 51% of the cars offered have never been rented ...
The possession of a car remains an important cost. The collaborative economy, which car rental between private individuals belongs to, allows first to limit waste and share resources before any significant enrichment, except for profiles exceptionally attractive.
